General Sales Conditions

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
The purchase of any STHAC products implies the acknowledgement and acceptance of the general sales terms and conditions explained below.. Any order placed with the STHAC Guitars company, through its Internet site www.sthacguitars.com or by fax or email, will be handled under these terms and conditions.
ORDER
Our prices may be modified without notice. Where there is no order form or previous written quotation, the goods will be invoiced at the price which is valid on the delivery day. Orders will only be taken into account on payment with a minimum of 50 % of the total order. The deposit will not be refunded if the order is cancelled. Payment will be accepted by wire transfer or via our Online Secure Paiement.
PRICE
The price in dollars is the général retail price and are subject to change without notice. The VAT is not included. A special rebate will be applied when 2 or more guitars are bought in one order.
WARRANTY
The STHAC guitars come with a 10 years warranty. To benefit from the warranty, the purchaser must send the warranty registration form to STHAC within a month of purchase (form can be found online). The warranty is applicable only to the first private purchaser (if the guitar is resold, the new owner cannot be considered as a first purchaser). The warranty may be transferred to the new owner after STHAC paying expertise of the instrument. The warranty covers any manufacturing defect, even if it is not obvious to the purchaser at the time of delivery. It does not, of course, cover any damage that may occur through normal use, wrong use or storage in an inappropriate place. In the case of any dispute, STHAC reserves the right to make the final decision on the validity of the warranty.
CASE
All STHAC guitars are delivered with a soft or hard case.
PAYMENT
No delay in payment will be accepted. The payment of the balance must be credited to our account before any dispatch, even partial, of the ordered goods can take place. Wire transfer is the prefered method of payment. If the purchaser cannot carry out the balance within 2 month after having received our notification of the availability of his guitar or bass, this one (the guitar or bass) will be given on sale and will imply the cancellation of the ordering.
DELIVERY
As STHAC guitars are “tailor-made”, any manufacturing and delivery times indicated at the time of order are only suggested (usually 18 to 20 weeks). Even when delivery is free, our goods travel at the buyer’s risk. Only claims received within 48 hours of delivery will be considered. No claim will be accepted if usual have not been made at the delivery towards the carrier. If goods need to be returned, these must be carefully packed and returned at the purchaser’s charge. No return can be made without first obtaining a ‘goods returned’ reference number from STHAC. The deposit is non-returnable on cancellation of an order.
PROPERTY RESERVE
According to the law n° 80-335 dated May 12th, 1980, the STHAC guitars will be the STHAC company’s property until the final payment. Neither the purchaser, nor any other juridical entities associated with the purchaser will be able to transfer the ownership of the goods without written agreement from STHAC. In the case of non-payment from the purchaser of any part of the price by the agreed date of payment, STHAC has the right, after a reminder sent by registered mail, to take back the goods in question. In the case of any dispute, only the findings of the Court of Créteil, France will be acceptable. In the case of any dispute, the compensation amount granted by the STHAC company cannot exceed 50 euros.
